Az észtországi tanulmányút és annak keretében szervezett tréning eredetileg 2020.03.09-15. valósult volna meg 15, a felnőttképzési folyamatban résztvevő közösségfejlesztő, valamint vidékfejlesztő szakemberek részvételével, 3 különböző észtországi helyszínen: Tallinn, Voru és Antsla.

A tanulmányút elsődleges célja volt, hogy a projektben fejlesztett tananyag leendő képzőit hozzásegítsük a módszer minél széleskörűbb megismeréséhez. A hétfői induláskor (2020.03.09.) még teljes biztonságban lévő utunk és programunk, végül az észt miniszterelnök csütörtök reggeli (2020.03.12.) bejelentésével ért véget. A koronavírus-járvány miatt bevezetésre kerülő/tervezett óvintézkedések miatt a tanulmányút alapját jelentő (aznap délután kezdődő) szakmai programot kénytelenek voltak elhalasztani a helyi szervezők és így mi is hazafelé vettük az irányt.

Bár az utunk annak talán legizgalmasabb pontján félbeszakadt, de a tallinni 3 nap és a vorui fél nap sok tartalmi dolgot hozott. Azon túl, hogy egy kibővített szakmai stábbal indultunk neki a közös tanulásnak, a tallinni egyetem (mint az adaptálandó módszertan egyik észt meghonosítója) és a témához kapcsolódó technológiai és szociális innováció terén tevékenykedő szervezetek interpretációjában (elméleti előadások, szakmai látogatások) fontos képet kaptunk az adaptálni kívánt modell szélesebb kontextusáról, társadalmi-gazdasági dimenzióból nézve egyaránt. Ezek során a tananyagfejlesztéshez elengedhetetlen különbségek feltárása is megtörtént, ami megalapozta a tananyagfejlesztési munka területi eltéréseit és sajátosságait. Továbbá ez egy ideális megágyazása volt a gyakorlat mind mélyebb értelmezésének, amire a térségi hackathonon való részvétel adott volna lehetőséget.

The study trip to Estonia and the training organized within it were originally scheduled for the period 09.03.15-15.03.2015. It would have been implemented with the participation of 15 community development and rural development professionals involved in the adult education process, in 3 different locations in Estonia, namely Tallinn, Voru and Antsla.

The primary goal of the study tour was to help prospective trainers of the curriculum to be developed in the project to learn about the method as widely as possible. At the starting date of Monday, March 9, 2020, it still seemed to be the case that our journey and program would safely roll out as planned. They ended, however, with the announcement made by the Estonian Prime Minister Thursday morning (March 12, 2020). Due to the precautionary measures introduced, the local organizers were forced to postpone the professional event (originally planned to start that very afternoon) which should have provided the backbone of our study trip, and so we headed back home.

Although our journey was interrupted at perhaps its most exciting point, the 3 days spent in Tallinn and the half day in Voru provided many elements rich in content. Not only had we started out on the path of joint learning with an expanded professional staff, but we also received important feedback and lots of relevant information concerning the broader context as well as the social and economic dimensions of the desired model from the perspective of the University of Tallinn (being one of the Estonian implementers of the methodology to be adapted) and a number of related organizations involved in the field of technological and social innovation, through theoretical lectures and professional visits. In the course of the latter, the essential differences that needed to be mapped for curriculum development to take place were also explored, providing an understanding of the territorial differences and peculiarities relevant to future curriculum development work. Furthermore, this provided an ideal basic for ever deeper interpretations of the practice that participation in the regional hackathon would have allowed for.
