Kisgalambfalván a felújított kultúrotthonba igyekszünk, vigyáznunk kell nehogy a tekervényes utcahálózat kifogjon rajtunk – bár nem nagy a település, könnyen megtörténhet, hogy körbe-körbe jársz a faluban, mielőtt a keresett célpontot megtalálod. Helyi történet, hogy reggel a „degenyeges” beérkezett a faluba, s estig kerülte a falut, míg végre megtalálta a kivezető utat.
Ismét új helyzetben próbáljuk ki magunkat, érdekessé, népszerűvé kell tennünk a nagy eseményt. Közben a résztvevőket is helyzetbe hozzuk: miután csoportban megbeszélik a meghirdetett témához kapcsolódó problémákat, 2 perces „pitching”-eket – toborzóbeszédeket – tartanak, amelyben eladhatják saját ötletüket.
Jó érzés, hogy a végén egy résztvevő fogalmazza meg a találkozó lényegét: most már tudják, hogy mire kell készülni, a nagy eseményig még van idejük gyakorolni a toborzóbeszédre.
Rövid szakmai összefoglaló:
Az 1. elő-eseményre való felkészülés az Homoród-Küküllő Leader egyesület tervezési területéhez tartozó önkormányzatok bevonásával történt. Az egyesület február 17-én megtartott bővített Vezetőtanácsi gyűlés keretében a jelenlévő 11 polgármester arra kérte az egyesület ügyvezetését, hogy addig ne kezdjen toborozni interjúzás révén embereket a térségből az elő-eseményre és a Vidékfejlesztési Maratonra, amíg minden önkormányzat nem próbálja meg, hogy saját községből beszervezzen ezen eseményre 5-5 főt. A folyamat segítésére összeállítottunk egy rövid leírást arról, hogy miként fog lezajlani az elő-esemény és a Vidékfejlesztési Maraton, valamint annak célját is röviden összefoglaltuk. Ez a dokumentum tartalmazta az egyesület által megfogalmazott térségi jövőképet, aminek megvalósításához kellet csatlakozzanak azo,k akiknek sikerül felkelteni az érdeklődésüket. Az első elő-eseményre 2021 március 24-én került sor 5 község 31 falujának részvételével. Ezekből a településekből összesen 17 helyi érdeklődő vett részt az elő-eseményen, akikkel az előkészítés fázisában a polgármestereken és más helyi de a Leader egyesülethez közel álló embereken kívül az egyesület képviselői is folytattak telefonos beszélgetést.
Az elő-esemény lezajlása:
- Bemutattuk az egyesület eddigi munkáját, és azt a folyamatot, hogy a tervezésből miként lesz megvalósult állom, amelynek illusztrálására megvalósított projektekről szóló képeket használtunk .
- Az egyesület bemutatása után, felvázoltuk az előttünk álló folyamatot (elő-esemény és Vidékfejlesztési Maraton, valamint a következő időszak fejlesztési tervének elkészítésének időszerűségét) és arra kértük a jelenlévőket, hogy vegyenek részt ebben, de csak akkor ha jól érzik magukat.
- Bemutattuk a az egyesület Jövőképét öt tematikára bontva amelyek: Az ifjúság szocializációja a hagyomány és a helyi kultúra alapján, Helyi szolgáltatások és idegenforgalom, Helyi termék, Helyi erőforrások fenntartható működtetése, Családalapú helyi aktív közösségek.
- A 17 helyi embert 4 csoportra osztottuk és minden csoport mellé két mentort rendeltünk segítőnek. A csoport kialakításánál figyelembe vettük, hogy lehetőleg egy községből csak egy ember vegyen részt a csoportban.
- A csoportok dolga az volt, hogy egy óra alatt találjanak olyan akadályokat(problémákat), amelyek a jövőkép megvalósulása útjában vannak és amely őket személyesen is érinti. Ennek az akadálynak az elhárítására érdekében csapatalakítás szándékával kellett tartsanak annyi toborzóbeszédet (pitching), amennyit jónak láttak. Végül összesen a 4 csoport 5 toborzóbeszédet tartott, melyeket kielemeztünk, és felhívtuk a figyelmüket arra, hogy ez a 2 perces toborzóbeszéd nagyban hozzájárul ahhoz, hogy az azt tartó személy tud-e csapatot alkotni arra, hogy az általa képviselt akadály elháruljon a jövőkép útjából.
- Azzal a feszültséggel engedtük útjukra a résztvevőket, hogy rajtuk is múlik a jövő.
A rendezvény nagyon jó hangulatban telt, a jelenlévők aktívan részt vettek a folyamatokban. A tervezett időkeret kevésnek bizonyult, nem volt mód utólagos vitára, ugyanis 10-re haza kellett érni a kijárási tilalom miatt. A következő találkozót, legalább egy órával hosszabbra tervezzük. A résztvevők megérezték a dolog lényegét, és megértették a Vidékfejlesztési Maraton folyamatát, mint csapatépítés, mentorok szerepe. A mentorok szakmai fejlődésében is sokat segített a találkozó, ugyanis itt már ők kellett a dolgozzanak, mi csak felügyeltük a folyamatokat.
Az elő-esemény megtartása kihagyhatatlanak bizonyult a folyamatból. Szükséges a felkészülés a részvevőknek, hogy tudjanak toborzó beszédet tartani.
A folyamat eredményességét, majd a májusi Vidékfejlesztési Maratonra történő bejelentkezők számával tudjuk lemérni.

In Kisgalambfalva, we head to the renovated cultural centre, taking care not to get caught out by the winding network of streets – although it’s not a large settlement, it’s easy to wander around the village before finding the destination you’re looking for.
Once again we are trying ourselves in a new situation, we have to make the main event interesting and popular. In the meantime, we put the participants in a situation: after discussing in groups the problems related to the announced topic, they give a 2-minute “pitching” – recruitment speeches – in which they can sell their own ideas.
It is a good feeling to have a participant at the end to sum up the meeting: now they know what to prepare for, they still have time to practice their recruitment speech before the big event.
A short summary:
The preparation for the 1st pre-event was done with the involvement of the municipalities in the planning area of the Homoród-Küküllő Leader Association. During the extended Executive Council meeting of the Association on 17 February, the 11 mayors present asked the association’s management not to start recruiting people from the area for the pre-event and the Rural Development Marathon by interviewing them until each municipality had tried to recruit 5-5 people from their own municipality for this event. To help with the process, we have put together a brief description of how the pre-event and the Rural Development Marathon will take place and a brief summary of its purpose. This document included the vision for the region that the association had set out, which needed to be shared by those who could be mobilised to join in. The first pre-event took place on 24 March 2021 with the participation of 31 villages from 5 municipalities. A total of 17 local participants from these villages attended the pre-event, and were interviewed by telephone by the association’s representatives, in addition to the mayors and other local people close to the Leader association, during the preparation phase.
The pre-event took place:
- We presented the work of the association so far and the process of how planning becomes a reality, illustrated by pictures of completed projects.
- After the presentation of the association, we outlined the process ahead (pre-event and Rural Development Marathon, and the timeliness of the development plan for the next period) and invited those present to participate, but only if they felt comfortable.
- We presented the association’s Vision for the Future, divided into five themes: Socialisation of youth based on tradition and local culture, Local services and tourism, Local products, Sustainable management of local resources, Family-based local active communities.
- The 17 local people were divided into 4 groups and two mentors were assigned to each group to help. The group design was based on the preference to have only one person from each municipality in the group.
- The task of the groups was to identify, in one hour, obstacles (problems) to the realisation of the vision that affect them personally. In order to overcome this obstacle, they had to make as many recruitment speeches (pitches) as they saw fit with the intention of team building. In the end, the 4 groups gave a total of 5 recruitment speeches, which were analysed and made aware that this 2-minute recruitment speech was a major factor in whether the person giving it could form a team to remove the obstacle to their vision.
- We let the participants go on their way with the tension that the future depends on them.
It was a very good atmosphere and everyone was actively involved in the process. The planned timeframe proved to be too short, and there was no time for debates afterwards, as we had to be home by 10 am due to the curfew. The next meeting is planned to be at least an hour longer. The participants got the gist of the matter and understood the process of the Rural Development Marathon as team building, the role of mentors. The meeting also helped in the professional development of the mentors, as they were the ones who had to work, we just supervised the process.
Holding the pre-event proved to be an essential part of the process. It is necessary to prepare the participants to be able to give a recruitment speech.
The effectiveness of the process will be measured by the number of registrations for the Rural Development Marathon in May.

A 2021 április 13-án Homoródszentmártonban megtartásra kerülő, az első Vidékfejlesztési Maraton második elő-eseménye sokban hasonlított és sokban különbözött a márciusban Kisgalambfalván megtartott elő-eseményre.
Ezen az eseményen a mentorokon és a szervező csapaton kívül 23 helyi érdeklődő vett részt az 5 községből. Az esemény ívét igyekeztünk ugyanúgy szervezni, mint Kisgalambfalván.
Fontos kiemelnünk, hogy sokkal nehezebben indult be a motivációs légkör, mint az előző alkalommal. Gondolom, hogy ehhez az is hozzájárult, hogy míg az előző alkalommal egy frissen felújított kultúrotthon barátságos légkörét élvezhettük, addig Homoródszentmártonban, egy picit hidegbe érkeztünk és a tér sem volt épp olyan kedves hangulatú. Említést érdemel az is, hogy itt a mentoroknak tartott képzéstől jóval hosszabb idő telt el, mint előző alkalommal, így bennük is több bizonytalanság volt, bár azok a mentorok, akik az előző alkalommal is részt vettek az elő-eseményen, nagyon várták már, hogy miként alakulnak a csoportok. Miután a csoportos beszélgetés beindult, egyre pörgősebbé vált az esemény. A végén igencsak jólsikerült 4 toborzó beszédet hallgathattunk meg. Ezek után kérdések tisztázására is sor került, mint: Mi a csapat dolga, aki díjat kapott? Ki gondozza a felmerült ötleteket és ki valósítsa meg őket? Miként fognak kialakulni a csapatok? Bár ezeket a dolgokat az esemény első részében elmondtuk, mégis miután a résztvevők a folyamat által érintetté váltak akkor tartották fontosnak, hogy ezt megbeszéljük.
Összegezve igen hasznos tapasztalatokkal bővültünk és úgy találtuk, hogy az összes résztvevő motiváltabban tért haza, mint ahogyan érkezett.

The second pre-event of the first Rural Development Marathon in Homoródszentmárton on 13 April 2021 was very similar and very different to the pre-event in Kisgalambfalva in March.
In addition to the mentors and the organising team, this event was attended by 23 local participants from 5 municipalities. We tried to organise the event in the same way as in Kisgalambfalva.
It is important to underline that the motivational atmosphere was much more difficult to get going than the previous event. I suppose that this was also due to the fact that, while on the previous occasion we enjoyed the friendly atmosphere of a newly renovated cultural centre, in Homoródszentmárton we arrived a little cold and the place was not quite as welcoming. It is also worth mentioning that the training for the mentors here took much longer than the previous time, so there was more uncertainty, although the mentors who had attended the pre-event the previous time were looking forward to seeing how the groups would develop. Once the group discussion got underway, the event became more and more lively. In the end we had a very successful 4 recruitment speeches. After that, questions were clarified, such as: What is the job of the team that received the award? Who takes care of the ideas that come up and who implements them? How will the teams be formed? Although these things were explained in the first part of the event, once the participants had been involved in the process, it was considered important to discuss them.
In summary, we gained very useful experience and found that all participants left more motivated than when they arrived.

- április 22-én Gagy falu kultúrotthonában került sor a 3. elő-eseményre a Vidékfejlesztési Maraton kapcsán. Itt a mentorokon és a szervező csapaton kívül 19 személy vett részt. Ennek az eseménynek az előkészítése jóval több energiát vett igénybe. Ezen 5 településből, akiknek képviselőik erre az eseményre voltak meghívva, a február 17-i bővített vezetőtanácsi gyűlésen csak két polgármester vagy annak küldöttje vett részt, így a másik 3 településről nem akartak gyűlni az emberek, hogy részt vegyenek az elő-eseményen. Ezért egy újabb személyes megkeresésre volt szükség, amelynek segítségével motiválttá tudtuk tenni a 3 polgármestert is, így sikerült minden községet megszólítani.
A folyamatot ugyanúgy terveztük, mint eddig, de itt a köszöntő beszéd után, amelyet a helyi unitárius tiszteletes tartott a polgármester felkérésére, szükséges volt a Vidékfejlesztési Maraton rövidke bemutatására, és azután tértünk vissza a megszokott forgatókönyvre és jutottunk el a csoportok kialakításához. Itt csak 3 csoportot alakítottunk ki és 3 toborzó beszédet hallgattunk meg. Bár a kultúrotthon itt sem volt túlfűtve, mégis jó dinamikával indult a motivációs légkör.
Ezen az eseményen kitűnt nagyon, hogy figyelni kell arra, hogy a megfelelő karakterű mentort tegyük az olyan csapatokhoz, ahol nagyon markáns véleménnyel bíró személyekből áll össze a csapat, ugyanis könnyen elmehet nem kívánt irányba is a folyamat. Ezért érdemes hallgatni az ösztöneinkre is, és éberen kell figyelni az elejtett kifejezésekre.
A rendezvény végén megnyitottuk a regisztrációt a május végén sorra kerülő Vidékfejlesztési Maratonra.
Az esemény motivált emberek távozásával zárult.

On 22 April 2021, the 3rd pre-event of the Rural Development Marathon took place in the village of Gagy. Besides the mentors and the organizing team, 19 people participated. The preparation of this event took a lot more energy. Out of these 5 municipalities whose representatives were invited to this event, only two mayors or their delegates attended the extended board meeting on 17 February, so people from the other 3 municipalities did not want to gather to participate in the pre-event. Therefore, another personal invitation was necessary to motivate the 3 mayors, so that all municipalities could be contacted.
The process was planned as before, but here, after the welcome speech by the local Unitarian pastor at the invitation of the mayor, it was necessary to give a short presentation of the Rural Development Marathon, and then we went back to the usual scenario and got to the formation of the groups. Here we formed only 3 groups and listened to 3 recruitment speeches. Although the culture club was not overheated here, the motivational atmosphere started with a good dynamic.
What really stood out at this event was the need to be careful to put mentors of the right character in teams where there are people with very strong opinions, as the process can easily go in the wrong direction. It is therefore also worth listening to your instincts and being alert to the expressions you utter.
At the end of the event, registration was opened for the Rural Development Marathon at the end of May.
